You want more than contrived and hollow imitations.

You want genuine, honest, "as you are" evidence of the real you; artifacts to treasure for yourselves that also stand the test of time for generations to come.

I'm here for that.

My purpose is to create the images that when you look back at your photographs fifty years from now, you will see the truth and power of your own story in them still.

ABOUT ME

I love having found my medium in photography. From my earliest memories of finger-painting at the kitchen table, to undergraduate and graduate degrees in Studio Art and Art History. I have always known staying true to myself meant continuing to create.

My career path from Museums to Arts Education dovetailed seamlessly into pursuing photography full time. And now, having photographed hundreds of weddings since 2011 - I recognize the common thread in it all - the magic is in the process.

A love of travel also stems from my childhood. I find something to love in each destination, and I dream of having a live-in van for endless adventures with my movie-quoting-singing-loud-in-the-car family. I have a special place in my heart for the sugar-sand beaches of Florida's Emerald Coast ... a favorite spot for barefoot adventures and sunshine; and welcome destination work worldwide.

Changing to a plant-based diet over a decade ago gave me new life! (The rest of my family consists of omnivores, no judgement here.)

This is the way I like to begin and end a wedding week.

*What's with the bare feet?

Have you noticed the times you are comfortable kicking off your shoes?

For me, it's in all my favorite moments and with all my favorite people ...

  • in the comfort of home, hanging out with family
  • on sandy beaches, while splashing in the surf
  • well into the open dance floor portion of a wedding reception, surrounded by fellow lovers of life just celebrating the moment
  • that time at a summer wedding when it rained so hard that the ground turned to *moosh*, and the couple spontaneously each took their turn walking down the aisle to be married *sans* shoes

It's this level of comfort, relatability, and just being yourself that I welcome each and every time I pick up my camera.
